Tim went to Africa the first time in 1979; 40 years ago.  He went with his younger sister, Becky, to work with their older sister and her husband, Murriell and Bob McCulley who were missionaries in Tanzania.  They traveled to several churches over the next six weeks holding Sunday school seminars and children’s services.  After doing pastoral work for over 15 years, we felt God calling us to become missionaries to Tanzania. We were approved as AGWM Africa missionaries in 1995; we are continuing that journey to this day almost 25 years later.

What an incredible journey we have been on; we have never regretted answering that call from God.  As with all journeys, there have been mountain tops and deep valleys, but God has been faithful. We have been privileged to see and be a part of what God is doing in Africa.  We are still on that journey and we pray that we will finish well the race that was set before us.
