The world as we have known it has gone about a drastic change in the past couple of weeks with the corona virus threat.  Life changes daily and we don’t know how much worse things will become and how long this will last.

However, the things that we do know is that God is in control, Jesus is building his church and Christians should be beacons of light in the darkness.  We need to take this situation in which we find ourselves to offer people Hope in the midst of their fear and uncertainty.

Tim and I have been self-isolating this past week and will continue even through this next week; we had possible exposure to the virus and my health issues put me at a high risk to contract the virus.  Do we have faith in God’s protection for us?  Yes!  However, we want to use wisdom and not be so uncaring that we put those we love and other innocent people at risk.  We will act with love and compassion to those around us.  Jesus instructed us to love others as we love ourselves; and so we will.

Stay safe everyone.  Stay calm and rest in the peace that passes all understanding.  Be prepared to be used by God to light the darkness and bring Hope.  It is what we are here to do.
